Jessica Martinac is the co-owner and heart behind Designing Beauty Academy. Her vision was to create a professional yet approachable environment where students, staff, and clients feel welcome and supported.
With years of experience in the beauty industry and a passion for helping others grow, Jessica leads Designing Beauty Academy and Pro Studio with integrity, creativity, and purpose, fostering a community where future beauty professionals can thrive.
JANESSA WARNOCK - Lead Esthetician Instructor

Janessa Warnock is the Lead Esthetician Instructor at Designing Beauty Academy. With twelve years of licensure and five years of teaching at DBA, she brings both industry experience and a deep passion for education into the classroom. While she enjoyed working in a spa environment, Janessa discovered that her true passion lies in teaching, mentoring, and watching students grow into confident professionals who fall in love with skincare.
For Janessa, esthetics goes far beyond facials and waxing. She believes in teaching communication, meaningful client connections, self-respect, and the importance of self-love. Her goal is to help students build confidence, purpose, and belief in themselves as they grow into professionals.
SHIRI TEE - Lead Cosmetology Instructor

Shiri Tee is a licensed cosmetologist with 16 years of industry experience and eight years of teaching. She currently serves as the Lead Cosmetology Instructor at Designing Beauty Academy in Windsor, Colorado. In 2023, Shiri was honored to receive the Educator of the Year Award through Intercoiffure America/Canada after being nominated by her students.
Shiri is passionate about sharing her knowledge and finds fulfillment in watching students grow from their first day through graduation. Designing Beauty Academy has become a second home to her, offering a positive, supportive environment where both students and educators can thrive.
NYKI LENGNER - Cosmetology Instructor
Cosmetology Program | Nail Specialty | Less Than 1 Year with Designing Beauty Academy
Nyki Lengner is a licensed cosmetologist and nail technician instructor who is passionate about supporting and encouraging student success. Her teaching approach focuses on hands-on learning, strong sanitation practices, and real-world skills that help students feel confident and prepared to enter the nail industry.
Nyki is committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students can grow their skills and confidence as they begin their professional careers.
MARLENE GIRON - Cosmetology & Lead Barber Instructor
Cosmetology & Barber Programs | 4 Years with Designing Beauty Academy
Marlene Giron is a dedicated Cosmetology and Barber Instructor at Designing Beauty Academy who brings passion and encouragement into the classroom. She is known for her ability to connect with students and focus on building both technical skills and confidence.
Outside of the classroom, Marlene enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to her favorite music, and watching the latest movies. She is proud to be part of the Designing Beauty Academy community and is committed to helping her students achieve their goals.
DANIELLE BRITTON - Cosmetology Instructor
Cosmetology Program | Color and Hair Extensions | 2 Years with Designing Beauty Academy
Danielle is a licensed cosmetologist with over 24 years of experience in the beauty industry and has spent the last two years teaching at Designing Beauty Academy. She specializes in color and hair extensions and has discovered that teaching has unexpectedly become one of her greatest passions.
As an instructor, Danielle enjoys sharing her knowledge and real world experience while helping students grow in confidence and skill. Outside of the classroom, she is a proud mom of four who loves pool days, lake time, and making memories with her kids. In her free time, she can often be found in Greeley enjoying good drinks, great company, and plenty of laughs, sometimes on land and sometimes on a boat.
