Esthetician program

The Esthetician program teaches you preventative skin care and instruction to keep skin healthy and attractive. At Designing Beauty Academy, we use Sanitas Skin Care products for our esthetician program.

Your program consists of 20 credit hours of theory and practice required for licensing exam administered by the State of Colorado's Office of Barber and Cosmetology.

You will learn theory and practice, then move on to laboratory activities. You must complete the basic esthetics curriculum and demonstrate competence in both theory and practical skills before participating in laboratory activities.

You will be expected to learn the information and master the skills to complete the program and pass the Colorado licensure exam, while acquiring the professional attitudes and habits necessary to obtain an entry-level esthetician job and then advance along the profession's career path.
